Full Job DescriptionAs an Inventory Planner at our corporate headquarters, you will develop production and distribution plans to maintain the optimal divisional and location inventory levels. You’ll also solve for product shortages and collaborate with supply chain partners to drive results.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Set the Pace – The Inventory Application Developer creates short term production schedules across assigned Kellogg facilities while monitoring the age of products to minimize write-offs and institute steps to rectify problems and perform capacity analyses.
Fresh Thinking – You will be managing production and inventory to balance capacity constraints, while also resolving critical product shortage issues while communicating exceptions.
Tools for Success – You will be maintaining planning system parameters (e.g., location of safety stock, economic production quantities, minimum run quantities, transit times, process capacity, packing capacity, shipping constraints, inventory constraints)
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Bachelor's Degree and consistently demonstrated related work experience.
APICS Certification
Experience working with Planning software, SAP/SNP or similar tools
Understanding of the supply/demand planning business drivers, organization structures and key metrics
Proficiency working with SAP or similar database application technology
Excellent proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Access or similar software
Very strong communication skills are essential, and expertise in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation are also critical.
